PUMA FOOTBALL
DREAM CATCHER - SAND ART TAKES YOU WHERE NIKE CAN'T

Euro 2012 was looming. Cue the usual melodramatic hyper-stylised comms from The Swoosh and The Stripes. Winning. Performance. Slow-mo beads of sweat dripping from pensive players. Another bla-bla fest. Puma wanted a fresh perspective. Rather than presenting logo-clad robots, what if we could humanise the players? What compelling stories do they have to share? This was the kick off for Puma Dream Catcher.

The Euros were being co-hosted by Poland and the Ukraine, and coincidentally a Ukrainian sand artist – Kseniya Samanova – was blowing up on Ukraine's Got Talent. We would travel through the minds of PUMA players as they shared memories, hopes and emotions. would bring these internal narratives to life through her sand art. This fully integrated Kseniya digital campaign shone bright in the darkness of convention – giving PUMA Football a unique identity.
