The Abans Group is one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka. Think many fingers in multiple tech, electronic and environmental pies. Abans had created a premium furniture retail concept, but they had no tangible brand, meaning no referential DNA for the showroom design concept. However, the vision was clear: to turn furniture shopping into experience.



















Clan B had two areas of focus – aesthetics and the experiential. Abans Homes in Style offered a range of very high end imported furniture. These pieces had never been seen in Sri Lanka. Consequently, we needed to create a unique and ownable aesthetic. The shopping experience was dictated by a concept of flow – meaning the seamless movement from space to space with engagement touch points along the way. Fluidity permeated the brand feel with the kinetic linear approach.
